Summary: Veltax is a local-first private vault. Your vault media, notes, tags, passcode settings, and optional disguise data are stored on your device. Veltax does not provide a Veltax account or cloud-sync service. The free version uses Google advertising services, which may process limited device and advertising data as described below.
1. Who we are
Veltax is provided by TensorActivity (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how Veltax handles information when you use the mobile application.
2. Information stored on your device
Veltax stores the following information locally in its private app storage to provide the features you choose:
- Photos, videos, voice notes, notes, tags, and related metadata that you import or create in Veltax.
- Your vault settings, such as theme, language, lock preferences, and locally stored purchase-entitlement status.
- Optional intruder-capture photos, if you enable that feature.
Veltax does not operate a cloud backup, account, or sync service for this content. Your vault content is not uploaded to TensorActivity by the app.
3. Permissions and sensitive information
Veltax requests permissions only when you use the related feature. Depending on your device and choices, these can include:
- Photos and videos: to import media into the vault and, only if you choose the option, delete originals after a successful import.
- Camera and microphone: to capture photos, videos with audio, voice notes, or an optional intruder-capture photo. Camera access for intruder capture is used only after you enable the feature.
- Contacts: to display contacts in the optional phone-disguise screen.
- Phone: on Android, if you choose to place a call from the phone-disguise screen, Veltax requests the Phone permission and passes the number you entered to your device’s telephone service to place that call. On iPhone, iOS presents its required system call confirmation. Veltax does not read, collect, or upload your call log.
- Biometrics: to unlock the vault if you enable biometric unlock. Veltax receives only the authentication result; it does not receive or store your biometric template.
- Motion sensors: to support an optional shake-to-lock feature. Sensor readings are processed on the device.
Contact information used by the phone-disguise feature is accessed only after permission is granted and is not uploaded to TensorActivity by Veltax. A number entered in the phone-disguise screen is used only to initiate the call you request through your device’s telephone service; TensorActivity does not receive or store that number through the app.
4. Advertising
The free version of Veltax displays ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google and its advertising partners may collect or process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app interaction data, diagnostic information, and advertising data to provide, measure, limit, or personalize ads, subject to your device settings and any consent choices presented to you. Where required, Veltax presents Google’s consent choices and provides an Ad privacy choices option in Settings when available.
Veltax does not provide your vault photos, videos, notes, contacts, or passcode to AdMob. Please review Google’s Privacy Policy and ad technology information for details about Google’s processing. Users who purchase Veltax Pro do not receive ads in the app.
5. Purchases
Optional subscriptions and purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple. Those stores handle payment information under their own privacy policies. Veltax does not receive or store your full payment-card information.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. Veltax does not share your vault content with TensorActivity, AdMob, or other third parties. Information may be processed by service providers only as necessary to provide advertising or store purchases, as described above, or where required by law.
7. Retention and deletion
Your vault content remains on your device until you delete it, reset the vault from Settings, or uninstall the app. You can delete individual media, notes, tags, and intruder-capture records in the app. Because Veltax does not provide user accounts or cloud storage, there is no TensorActivity-hosted vault account or cloud content for you to delete.
Uninstalling Veltax generally removes app-local data, subject to your device operating system’s behavior and any device backup settings. Purchase records are retained by the applicable app store as required by that store.
8. Security
Veltax uses operating-system private application storage, excludes vault content from app backups where supported, stores the passcode as a salted cryptographic hash, and supports optional biometric unlocking. The current version does not separately encrypt each vault photo, video, note, thumbnail, or database file. The in-app passcode controls access through Veltax, while protection of files at rest also depends on your device’s operating-system security and device encryption.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device software updated, use a device screen lock, protect your Veltax passcode, and do not give an untrusted person administrative or root access to your device.
9. Children
Veltax is not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required by applicable law. Do not use the app to store or share another person’s information without appropriate authority.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Veltax or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted at www.tensoractivity.com/veltax/privacy with a revised effective date.
