About OnePDF
What OnePDF is
OnePDF is a PDF editor and converter that works on your own device. On the web it runs in your browser, here; on Android and iPhone it is an app. Both are built on the same engine.
It edits the text already in a PDF, converts PDFs to and from Word, Excel and PowerPoint, merges, splits and compresses them, fills and signs forms, redacts, protects and recognises scans: every tool is listed on the home page.
Why we built it
Most PDF websites work by uploading your document to their servers. For the documents people most often need to change, that is the wrong way round: contracts, statements, IDs, medical letters. We wanted a PDF tool that does everything those sites do without anyone else holding a copy, so we built the engine to run where the file already is. How OnePDF works explains how.
Who makes it
OnePDF is made by TensorActivity, which makes simple apps that keep your data yours: Oblix for collaborative notes, Veltax, a private vault, and Atlaswave, encrypted storage that is in development. A TensorActivity account is the one sign-in for those that need one. OnePDF does not: every tool works without it.
What we promise on this site
Every claim on these pages is something OnePDF does. Where a conversion rebuilds a layout rather than copying it, or leaves something out, the page says so, and the tool tells you when it happens.
