PDF to Excel in your browser

A table in a PDF is only words placed in a grid; the file does not know they form a table. OnePDF looks at where every word sits, turns the gaps running down the page into columns and the lines into rows, and writes each page to its own sheet of an .xlsx workbook.

Amounts such as 1,234.50, (12) and 45% become real numbers with the page's own formatting, so you can sum and sort them straight away, while codes like 007 stay text. Bank statements and invoices stay on your device throughout: nothing is uploaded to convert them.

Why use OnePDF to convert PDF to Excel

  • Rows and columns from the page

Words are put into rows by the line they sit on and into columns by where they sit across the page, so a table reads as a table.

  • Numbers you can sum

1,234.50, (12) and 45% become the numbers they are, with the page's own formatting, so formulas work straight away.

  • Bold headers kept

Text set in bold on the page is bold in its cell.

Questions about PDF to Excel

Does it find tables automatically?

Yes. It looks at where every word sits: the gaps down the page become columns and the lines become rows. Text outside tables comes across too, a line per row.

Are numbers converted to real numbers?

Yes, when they read as numbers. A code with a leading zero, like 007, stays text so it is not changed, and an amount with a currency sign stays as written.

Can it convert a scanned bank statement?

Run OCR first so the words are recognised, then convert to Excel.

Is my PDF uploaded?

Not unless you sign in. Signed out, your file is opened by OnePDF inside your browser, on your own device, and is not uploaded to any server. Signed in with a TensorActivity account, the files you open are also saved to your account, encrypted, so they are there on every device you sign in to.
