Edit PDF in your browser
Many PDF editors only let you add text on top of a page, or cover the old words with a white box and type over them. OnePDF changes the words themselves: click a paragraph and retype it in the font the document already uses, with its weight, slant, letter spacing and underline, so the edit does not show. Drag a paragraph to move it.
Font, size, colour, bold, italic, alignment, line spacing and letter spacing can be changed for any stretch of text, and characters the document's font lacks, such as a currency sign or another script, are drawn with a font that has them, embedded for you. Scanned pages become editable after OCR. The PDF is edited on your device.
Why use OnePDF to edit PDF text online
In the document's own fonts
Retyped text is set in the font the PDF already uses, with its weight, slant, letter spacing and underline, so the edit does not show.
Everything a word processor has
Font, size, bold, italic, underline, colour, alignment, line spacing, letter spacing and case, for any stretch of text.
Any language
Type naira signs, Yoruba accents, Arabic or Hindi: a font with those characters is found and embedded for you.
Edit scanned documents
Run OCR on a scan and its words become editable text on the page.
Questions about Edit PDF
Can I edit the existing text in a PDF, not just add new text?
Yes. Click any paragraph to retype it where it sits, and drag it to move it.
Will my edits match the rest of the document?
Yes. New words are set in the document's own embedded font, with its size, weight, colour and spacing.
Can I edit a scanned PDF?
Yes. Run OCR from the tools list; the recognised words can then be edited like any other text.
Is my PDF uploaded?
Not unless you sign in. Signed out, your file is opened by OnePDF inside your browser, on your own device, and is not uploaded to any server. Signed in with a TensorActivity account, the files you open are also saved to your account, encrypted, so they are there on every device you sign in to.
Do I need an account?
No. Open a file and start editing: no tool needs an account. Sign in with a TensorActivity account if you want your files kept for you, on every device you sign in to.
