Word to PDF in your browser

OnePDF lays out a .docx page by page in your browser, following the document's own styles: headings, fonts, sizes, colours, bullets and numbering, tables with merged cells and shading, and pictures where they were. Text in every script is shaped properly, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi and Chinese included.

If a font the document uses is not on your device, the nearest face of the same kind is used and you are told which. Headers and footers are not carried yet, and the converter says when a document has them. The PDF opens in the editor, so you can check it, sign it or merge it with other files before saving.

Why use OnePDF to convert Word to PDF

  • Styles and lists

Headings, fonts, sizes, colours, bullets and numbered lists follow the document's own styles.

  • Tables and pictures

Tables keep their columns, merged cells and shading; JPEG and PNG pictures sit where they were.

  • Every script

Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Chinese, Yoruba: text in any language is shaped and drawn correctly.

Questions about Word to PDF

Which Word files can I convert?

Any .docx, the format Word has saved since 2007. For an older .doc, open it in Word, save it as .docx, then convert.

Will my fonts be kept?

Your document's fonts are used when this device has them. Otherwise the nearest face of the same kind (serif, sans-serif or monospace) is used, and the converter tells you which fonts were replaced.

Are headers and footers included?

Not yet. Body text, tables, lists and pictures are; the converter tells you when a document has headers or footers it left out.

Is my document uploaded?

Not unless you sign in. Signed out, your file is opened by OnePDF inside your browser, on your own device, and is not uploaded to any server. Signed in with a TensorActivity account, the files you open are also saved to your account, encrypted, so they are there on every device you sign in to.
